"Heartwarming story, unforgettable characters, great followup to WEDDING OF THE CENTURY."
Max Trevetti and Suzanna Grant have known each other for a
long time. Suz is Max's sister Annette's best friend and
business partner, until they recently sold that successful
venture. Max always thought of Suz as another sister and a
very good friend until the night of Annette's wedding. Suz
couldn't attend the ceremony, but when she appeared at the
reception wearing a dynamite red dress looking more
gorgeous than ever, Max's heart went into overdrive. Suz always thought of Max as everyone's knight-in-shining-
armor for leaving college to raise Annette after their
mother's death. He now owns his own construction company
and is building houses rather than designing them,
architecture being his lifelong dream. He's responsible for
employing too many people to return to school. Well, not if Suz has anything to say about it. Her feelings
for Max are much stronger than friendship, and she doesn't
know what to do about them. She always thought she was
fated to have possibles in her dating life that
never advanced to maybes, much less to for
sure. Max must help Suz build her confidence. He sees her as
funny and bright and so much better at everything she does
than she gives herself credit for. Suz is special to him,
and getting more so every day. Together they begin their
journey of love. They help each other through new
discoveries and life-changing decisions, escalating into a
passion so great that all their dreams come true. This is pure reading enjoyment. We get to know two unique
and unforgettable characters teamed up with a heartwarming
story. And don't miss the beginning of this wonderful
Something New series with Annette and Steve's love story,
WEDDING OF THE CENTURY. Ms. McLinn gives us a treasure, a
treat, a gift for the heart.

SummarySuz has long been attracted to Annette's brother, Max. But
he's always treated her as surrogate little sister,
apparently unaffected by the sizzle she feels. The last
thing she wants is a big brother, especially one who seems
determined to play that role to the entire world. But a
kiss at the wedding reception makes her aware that the
sizzle is not all one-sided.
With the sale of her business leaving her both with free
time and a financial cushion, she is persuaded to stick
around Tobias for a while. Maybe it's time to open Max's
eyes to who she really is - and who they could be together.
But she's in for a surprise as Max also makes her see
herself in a new light.
