"A sexy, hilarious island romp!"

Genevieve Terrence owes a lot to her Granny Neville. It's because of her that Genevieve's mama inherited Elvis' Jockey shorts. With the sale of said shorts, her mama was able to move her family from the backwoods of Tennessee to beautiful Honolulu, where Genevieve works as a secretary for the man of her dreams, Nick Brogan. She's sure Nick is the man for her, despite the fact that he invites many of the company secretaries on overnight "business" trips. When Nick turns his considerable charm on her, she knows this is the chance she's been waiting for to prove to the office Romeo that she's the woman for him.

Jackson Farley, computer nerd extraordinaire, has been attracted to Genevieve from the moment he laid eyes on her. Unfortunately, it's obvious from her kindly self- improvement tips that his romantic interest isn't returned. When he hears that she's the latest secretary to fall for the slick Brogan's line, Jackson is determined to go along on the trip and be the one to pick up the pieces when Nick does the inevitable and dumps Genevieve.

On the flight from Honolulu to Maui, Nick bails out of the small plane, leaving Genevieve and Jackson to die when the plane crashes into the ocean. Fortunately, Jackson has flown a few computer flight simulations and manages to bring the plane down near a deserted island. Now the two are stuck together on the remote island, the contents of her pink suitcase all that stands between them and disaster. In this tropical paradise, the two give into the sensual attraction that flares between hunting for food, setting up shelter and fleeing from sharks. All too soon, it turns out the sharks are the least of their problems.

Ms. Thompson has written a fun, sexy romp set on the ultimate fantasy island. There are enough twists in the plot and fun characters to keep the reader amused throughout. Although I thought the hillbilly slang was a bit overused, fans of Ms. Thompson's books won't be disappointed.
