REVIEW

"A beautiful and tender romance!"

Nurse Elizabeth Campbell's six-year old niece, Hannah, is desperately ill and needs help only her father can possibly give. Beth knows she has no choice but to track down Adam Knight even though she promised her sister, Claire, she would never contact Hannah's father. Convincing Adam to help Hannah is no problem. What worries her is Adam's insistence that he plans to play a much more significant role in Hannah's life from here on out. Her strong attraction to Adam's gorgeous looks and charming personality don't help the situation either, for she feels the only reason he is interested in a friendship with her is because she reminds him of Claire.

Dr. Adam Knight has dedicated his life to working in third world countries where good medical services are always in short supply. His uncle's ill health brings Adam home to Winton to help out at the surgery and there he meets Beth quite by chance. Finding out he has a daughter is a huge shock to his system, but once he gets used to that fact, he is determined to make it absolutely clear he's here to stay and be a part of Hannah's life. Now if only he could convince Beth that he plans to play a much more significant role in her life too!

ADAM'S DAUGHTER, the latest medical romance by Jennifer Taylor, is a beautiful and very tender romance that makes for a very entertaining read. Ms. Taylor has created rich warm characters who pull the reader into the heart of the story very quickly. The enhancing medical jargon goes a long way in helping to transport the reader into the 'clinic' setting for the novel. I certainly felt I was right there in the surgery with Adam and Beth throughout the story.

Ms. Taylor has lovingly created both main characters, Adam and Beth, and their thoughts and emotions come across clearly, making them very easy to like. The secondary characters, especially Hannah and Ian, added not only depth but also a lot of colorful flavor to the tale. 'Nursie' was a wonderful addition to the children's ward and I did so enjoy the scenes that included her.

Jennifer Taylor's ADAM'S DAUGHTER is a romance that promises a few hours of pleasurable reading on a lazy afternoon and one that readers of medical romances are sure to enjoy!
