"A well-written time travel romance"

When Mica Chadwick's beloved Aunt Theo died, she bequeathed the Cameron Island family estate Sea Crest to her niece. Mica has a thriving law practice and has no plans to manage a bed and breakfast, but could use some time away from her highly stressed legal job. She travels to Sea Crest to relax, but finds weird happenings in her new home.

Mica opens a door that allegedly goes nowhere only to find a stairwell. She walks down the steps only to end up in the home of Thomas Rutledge, circa 1850. Mica concludes that the door and steps must be a portal and bridge between the past and her present. The more Mica remains in the past with Logan, the more she realizes she loves him. However, an unknown antagonist waits for the right moment to destroy everything this couple cherishes.

INDIGO BAY is a well-written time travel romance due to the actions and reactions of the heroine when she becomes temporally displaced. Mica never pretends to be an antebellum southern belle even for love. Instead she coaxes Logan into accepting her as an independent, intelligent individual. This helps turn this novel into a delightful time travel for sub-genre fans.
