"A sweet romance -- can identical twins sharing an identity untangle their love lives?"
Newspaper reporter Rick Orlando has been assigned to cover
a romance convention of all things! His editor insists that
it will be informative and also assigns Rick to interview
local romance writer Lace Kincaid. Rick insists his good
friend, photographer Penny Ritmeyer, cover the story with
him. Lace Kincaid is actually two people. Identical twins Ashley
and Lexi have been sharing the job for years. Shy Ashley
does all of the writing, while outgoing Lexi handles the
promotion, contracts, and personal appearances. But each
twin is starting to feel constricted by her role and both
want to spread their wings a little. Rick secretly has a thing for redheads, so when he first
sees auburn-haired Lace Kincaid, he's excited. But he finds
Lace to be abrasive with her overt sensuality. So he's
shocked when he meets with her that night and finds her to
be more like the woman of his dreams. Soft and sweet, she's
nothing like the "public" Lace. Rick could easily fall in
love with the "private" Lace. Penny is suspicious of Lace, thinking that Lace is just
stringing Rick along for a good interview. She only sees
the public Lace, so she's aware that Lace has a thing for a
certain male cover model. Can she catch Lace with the cover
model, proving to Rick that Lace isn't who she seems? Of course, the reader knows that the public Lace is Lexi
and the private Lace is Ashley. But how long can the
charade go on? Mistaken identities abound in this comic
novel. A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN is a sweet romance.

SummaryBest-selling romance novelist Lace Kincaid is the darling
of the romance industry. But Lace Kincaid has a secret. She
doesn't really exist.
Ashley and her identical twin sister Alexis are the writing
team behind the pseudonym. Ashley, the quiet and demure
twin, writes the best-selling books, while Lexi handles
marketing and promotion, as well as outrageously playing
the diva role of "Lace Kincaid" at public events.
On the eve of receiving the prestigious Crystal Quill
Award, their charade is about to come crashing down. While
trying to keep the truth from handsome journalist Rick
Orlando, Ashley and Lexi get caught up in a complicated
deception that puts both their careers and love lives in
jeopardy.
