REVIEW

"The first in The Babies of Doctor's Circle series!"

Blame it all on the rum punch! That's all Natalie Winford has to say! While on a fund raising cruise on her boss's yacht, Natalie and Dr. Patrick Barr finally let their inhibitions down just enough to finally get up close and personal. Will it affect their working relationship at Doctor's Circle where they both work?

Now six weeks later, Natalie finds out she's pregnant. How does she go about telling Patrick? Unfortunately her ex-husband shows back up and insinuates to Patrick that he and Natalie are back together. So when Patrick finds out that Natalie is pregnant, he mistakenly assumes the baby is her ex-husband's. Patrick is jealous but he really doesn't have time for a family anyway. He just can't believe that Natalie was seeing him and her ex at the same time though.

Natalie knows that she's not in the same league with Patrick and feels they should go back to their business relationship. She also has a tiny secret about her job application that if it ever gets out she may get fired from her job. Patrick doesn't want to go back to their business relationship but what can he offer Natalie and what if he's as much of a workaholic as his father is?

This wonderful romance reminded me of good friends getting together to talk their problems over and being there for each other. There was happiness and sadness but overall just a delightfully sweet romance. I have been a long time fan of Jacqueline Diamond's and have always enjoyed her books. This one lived up to my expectations of how enjoyable I know her books always are. I look forward to the other books in this series.
