REVIEW

"A Fine Work of Art"

Elizabeth thought her world was shattered when she discovered her husband was cheating on her. When Boone steps into her office late one night she realizes that she can forget Stuart and her failure of a marriage at least for a short time. She has noticed him in her art history class. He is one of her graduate students and very attractive.

He offers Elizabeth a ride home when her car breaks down one night and manages to talk her into going out for coffee. Coffee, a few dances and one hot extremely potent kiss later Elizabeth discovers that Boone finds her attractive as well! She fights the mutual attraction because of Boone's age and the fact that he is one of her students. She goes to watch him play soccer and has car trouble again. She asks Boone for a drive to a gas station. He offers to drive her home instead and manages to talk her into going out for dinner. They go to his apartment so he can shower first and end up making love.

Elizabeth is unsure about going public with her affair with Boone. She's very concerned with what everyone will say about the age difference. Not to mention that he's her student!

I loved this book. I don't know whether it was the spice of the forbidden; 36-24 year age difference, the teacher- student relationship or a combination of both. This book was very exciting. The sex was hot but it went nicely with the storyline. I would definitely recommend this book especially if you like a taste of the unusual.

Summary

At thirty-six, university art professor Elizabeth Gilstrom finds herself facing a bleak, lonely future when her husband leaves her for his young medical assistant. After giving up her own career as an artist a decade before, Elizabeth has nothing to show for their ten-year marriage... only the faded memory of a paintbrush's weight in her hand, an empty bed, and an empty heart.

She's still reeling from shock and devastation when graduate student Boone McCrea walks into her office...and into her bed. Boone might only be twenty-four, but he is, quite simply, one of the most attractive men Elizabeth has ever seen, a work of art that stirs wild sensations she has long repressed.

Sexual Content: Hard R. Genre: contemporary.
