"Another fun addition to this cozy mystery series."
Inspector Witherspoon has a reputation as a fine detective.
This superior reputation surprises even him, as he's rather
unassuming and possessing of low self-esteem. His secret,
unbeknownst to him, is his personal staff headed by Mrs.
Jeffries. The clever housekeeper and her staff have
successfully solved many murder cases "with" the
Inspector. This time, the undercover crew is not even sure whether the
murder is a murder. The shady answers of the victim's
coworkers, the shoddy depictions of the crime scene from
the police, and a possible mitigating medical issue make
the trail even more difficult. Fans of the other books in the Mrs. Jeffries series will
enjoy this latest installment. Even new readers will become
quickly absorbed in the quirky characters. Inasmuch as a
mystery can be funny, this one is hysterical.
