"Another fantastic entry in the Lucky Seven series!"
Diana was only 16 years old when her father forced her to
marry Baron Huntley. David, the Duke of Smythingdale, came
to Diana's aid as she tried to save a puppy from her
husband's hooligans. She fell in love with David that day.
He also fell in love with Diana, but since she was married,
he could do nothing but lend her support. Five years have passed, Baron Huntley has died, and Diana
is facing another of her father's matchmaking schemes.
David has just returned to England after being held
prisoner. He wants to roam England and take a break from
his ducal duties until he can find some inner peace.
Instead of peace, he finds Diana, who's trying to escape
her family and to get to her godmother's home. He follows
and gets her out of one scrape after another. David feels
that if she's going to marry anyone, it will be him. With David striving to see England as a commoner rather
than as a duke, and also trying to keep Diana safe with her
knack for getting into trouble, plus a little magic and
mystery, this story is wonderful. It's one of the Lucky
Seven series, and I can hardly wait for the next
installment. All have been fantastic stories that I've
thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks, Christina, I loved this one.
