"A Fun and Witty Island Tale"

Sara Crawford, is surprised when she receives a phone call from her great-aunt Millie's attorney. Her great- aunt has left her a island. When Sara arrives on Thorne Island she is dismayed to see that the island looks nothing like her glossy brochure photo. The dock is about to fall into the lake, and The Cozy Cove Inn needs a good paintbrush and a veracious vacuuming.

Sara is in store for much more, the island has four long-term inhabitants, and each of them has a unbreakable lease and has negotiated terms with Millie to remain on the island. Three private, stubborn recluses who want nothing to do with Sara, or the renovations she wants make. Last but least is Nick Bass the sexy but equally stubborn man Sara has an instant attraction to. Nick's, secret past has him opposed to any changes on Thorne Island as well.

Sara is more than up to challenging these four men and making Thorne Island the beautiful place that it once was.

Cynthia Thomason weaves a wonderful tale of coming to terms with one's fears, and finding love with someone special along the way. Sara and Nick are wonderful characters. Sara is strong-willed and classy. Nick is handsome and very brooding. They made a wonderful combination. The secondary characters Brody, Dexter, and Ryan are equally entertaining. Each man has a distinct personality which brings a little something special to the story as well. Great, fun light-hearted read on a rainy day.
