"Ready for more Bad boys??"
I know I was going through withdrawal waiting for another
dose of Brava's Bad Boy series, when lo and behold BAD BOYS
ON BOARD arrived in the mail. I eagerly opened it up and
sat down for some of the steamy writing that I have come to
expect and I wasn't disappointed. Sam is an undercover cop, who in Lori Foster's MY HOUSE, MY
RULES, decides to teach his brother Pete's ex-girlfriend a
lesson, but what happens when she doesn't object to his
rules? Sam is one of the most alpha guys that Lori Foster
has written and I just loved watching him struggle with his
lust for Ariel and with his love for his brother Pete. In Donna Kauffman's GOING DOWN, Callie Hathaway has been
working for six weeks in her new job, but has developed a
thing for Dominic, one of her boss' clients. Things heat up
really quickly for them one night, when they are stuck in
an elevator overnight. I have always been partial to
elevator scenes and this novella was a lot of fun. Gotta
love a heroine who is thinking longingly of frozen Hostess
cupcakes and a hero who makes her forget them. I was never much a fan of amnesia stories, but that was
until I read Nancy Warren's A FAST RIDE. While working in
her great-aunt's garden, Nell has to perform CPR when her
aunts "speedbump" gets one of the bikers that have been
terrorizing their town. Problem is when the gorgeous biker
wakes up he has no clue who he is, except he thinks that
Nell is his girlfriend. What happens when he regains his
memory and will he forgive Nell for her little deception? With novellas like MY HOUSE MY RULES, GOING DOWN and A FAST
RIDE, is it any wonder why Brava fans can't wait until they
hit the stands? I love the fact that each novella is as
good as the others. I have gotten spoiled with these
novellas, because I know that with a BAD BOYS anthology I
will have a fun, enjoyable read that will have me running
to take a cold shower afterwards. I know you will enjoy BAD BOYS ON BOARD as much as I do and
can't wait for more. Barb Hicks
