REVIEW

"The first book in "The Bad Girls Club" series"

After being burned by a fellow co-worker and then losing her job, Venus Messina is through with guys in suits. She's now tending bar for her foster uncle when a man comes in and tries to convince her that she's the granddaughter of a millionaire and his only heir. He's in failing health so this guy tells Venus that he's her cousin. Venus has always wanted to find her relatives since her mother died when she was eight but never got around to getting the ball rolling.

While Venus wonders how to pay the rent, the guy tells her he'll give her $5,000 to go to Atlanta and meet her so-called grandfather. Venus agrees because that can pay a lot of rent but when she gets to Atlanta, she's really not sure if she wants to go through with it or not.

The first person she meets is Troy Longtree and while he meets all of her requirements in a man, he's a dreaded suit. Then when she finds out he works for her supposed grandfather, Max, she realizes that she shouldn't get involved since she's not sure what her relationship with Max really is. When Venus finds out that Troy is staying with Max, she knows she's in BIG trouble. Let the fun and games begin!

This one sitting read was hot, sexy and just plain fun to read. Venus was so irreverent and so out of her league but she was endearing and not the least bit phony. She was just what Troy needed to shake him up a bit. Troy may have been a suit but he sure knew how to make Venus burn and he knew exactly what to do to get under her skin. This is the first book in the miniseries "The Bad Girls Club". I'm eagerly looking forward to the other two books in the series by Julie Elizabeth Leto and Tori Carrington.

Her Motto: Attitude is everything!

Especially when she meets her "grandfather's" new business partner, sexy Troy Langtree, and falls in lust at first sight.

With his latest fling having ended in disaster, bad-boy businessman Troy Langtree is starting over — in a new city, in a new job. He's hoping he'll be able to figure out what he wants from life. Only, once he meets bad girl Venus Messina, all he wants is to have his wicked way with her — again and again! And if he's lucky, Venus will be as bad as she looks.
