"Like it sizzling hot?"
Working as a Zing-O-Gram girl until she is able to make her
dream of composing children's music a reality, Jackie Brady
accidentally arrives at the wrong party. Dressed in a cat
costume held together by duct tape, she sings a sultry
Happy Birthday that could have put Marilyn Monroe to
shame. Beautiful, and with a voice that simmers with an
untapped passion, Jackie had a tendency to draw attention
to herself. Unfortunately her latest stint as a singing telegram girl
causes Greg De Costa's attention to focus on her. When he
introduces himself, Jackie knows his name is familiar, just
not how, until after they share a toe-curling kiss. He is the general manager she is interviewing with the next
day. She vows to remain all business, while Mr. No Nonsense
Business Man can't seem to escape her unconscious siren's
call. As fate, in the form of a very determined client,
forces them to work very closely together, the sparks -- as
well as the clothing and Jackie's good intentions -- fly. 'Heat' is a good name for this Temptation series. With
writers like Joanne Rock and characters like Jackie and
Greg, this book definitely has a sizzle. Passionate yet
quirky at times, and even amusing, REVEALED was a book I
couldn't put down. All that's left to say is, "Is it hot
in here?"
