REVIEW

"Setting the sheets on fire!"

When attorneys Marie Bertelli and Ian Kilborn were young and growing up in the same neighborhood, they once gave in to passion and had hot sex in her mother's kitchen pantry. They have been avoiding each other ever since.

Now, eight years later, a chance meeting in the courthouse has them eager to scratch that lustful itch once again. The affair they launch themselves into is certainly a torrid one, but their enjoyment is hampered by the fact that Marie's brother has been kicked out of his house by his wife and has moved in with her. Marie's family is a very large, overprotective one and Ian fears for his health, if not his very life if they should even suspect something is going on. Things are further complicated by Marie's father who is a suspected Mob Boss under criminal investigation. He has hired Ian to represent him, much to Marie's hurt and chagrin.

Marie eventually begins to become dissatisfied with sneaking around, and wants something more from Ian, who still shies away from a commitment, even if it means losing the woman he may be coming to love. Marie's two law partner friends Jena (FIRE AND ICE) and Dulcy (A STRANGER'S TOUCH) put in an appearance, as does their senior partner, Barry, who is having romance troubles of his own.

My goodness, GOING TOO FAR is one steamy book! Do the words "Hot monkey sex" bring anything to mind? Once again, Tori Carrington has put the blaze in Blaze! This is a fun, fast read. I enjoyed it even though I did occasionally want to bop Ian over the head and yell "Grow up!" at him. He did eventually come around, and I am sure that even as I write this, Ian and Marie are setting another set of sheets on fire!

Legal Briefs—Litigation between the sheets.

Summary

How far...

Attorney Marie Bertelli needs a fling—badly. With a stressful job and a big Italian family known for scaring off the opposite sex, Marie figures she'll have to proposition the next man to cross her path. Luckily for her, that man is sexy lawyer Ian Kilborn. And while she might not want to read his legal briefs, she definitely wants to get into them...

...is too far?

Ian has been fighting a bad case of unrequited lust for Marie for years. But she never seemed to have the same burning desire for him...until now. Suddenly shy, sexy Marie has become a sexual tigress, determined to seduce the life out of him. Not that Ian's complaining... Their interludes are hot, intense...wicked. But when their fling becomes something more, is either one of them willing to go the distance?
