"A sweet Cinderella type romance!"
Amanda Hutton, the daughter of an American diplomat,
has put her etiquette expertise to use by teaching children
of diplomats how to handle themselves in social
situations. She's been invited to be her best friend and
ex-college roommate Jennifer's maid of honor at her wedding
to Prince Antony diTalora. Antony's youngest brother Stefano is the wild one
and Amanda is sent to find him so he'll be back to the
palace in time for the wedding. She finds him in a casino
and is instantly attracted to this California surfer
looking young man. He tells her he would have been back in
time but she can tell he's just not comfortable in social
situations. Then King Eduardo approaches Amanda with an offer
she can't refuse. He offers Amanda the job of teaching
social etiquette to Stefano. Amanda agrees because she
needs to pay the rent on her apartment in Washington, DC
but she just doesn't know how she can deal with her
attraction to Stefano. Stefano isn't thrilled that he has a tutor, for
goodness sakes. He's a grown man who's spent time in the
San Rimini Army. Why would he need a tutor? Then he decides
to give Amanda a chance and is surprised to find what he
learns from her and how he comes to feel for her. Now if
he can just convince Amanda that he's serious, all will be
well or will it? It seems Amanda has a little secret that
could be devastating to them both. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet romance. It was
like a fairy tale romance with a prince and a commoner,
just the kind of thing we always dreamed about as little
girls. Reading this story makes me glad that I have the
first book about Jennifer in my possession and I eagerly
look forward to Antony and Stefano's sister Isabella's
story!
