"A story about getting a second chance at love"
This is a passionate tale of two people who had given up
hope, only to find each other by chance, giving both a
second chance at love. Samantha Winston has lost all happiness. When her newborn
daughter died after less then 24 hours, her marriage fell
apart. Her husband abandoned her to find himself a new
wife
who could bear him a child, and she despaired of ever
finding joy in life again. Erik Romaine's marriage had
never been good. He and his wife had only married so she
would not abort their unborn child. He tried to make it
work, especially after their second child was born, but
his
wife left anyway, wanting a divorce so she could go on
with
her life. When these two lost hearts meet at his pawn shop, where
Samantha had gone to sell her wedding ring, neither
expected the immense sexual attraction they felt. Nor were
they prepared for the hot experience that could heal old
wounds and provide them a chance to start a new life
together. This story is one hot, quick read. The sexual awareness is
immediate and all encompassing, flaming hot enough to
singe
fingers. Though there is only one encounter between
Samantha and Erik, there are plenty of lustful imaginings
on the parts of each, leading up to their fiery joining.
Also, there is enough plot here to prevent this tale from
being a story that is purely sex. Samantha and Erik each have their painful histories,
making
them the wounded, but strong, people they are. They are
meant for one another and their unhappy pasts give them
enough common ground on which to build a life together.
Readers will be drawn to them and their story, and happy
they finally get a chance to find the peace they both
deserve. In short, Ms. Jenson's Lost Hearts Found Souls, is an
entertaining book that showcases her talent for writing
emotional stories that are guaranteed to impress readers,
making them beg for more. © Kelley A. Hartsell, July 2004. All rights reserved.

SummaryIt was a plain gold band, unadorned with even an
inscription. It wasn't even an expensive ring, for it came
from the jewelry counter of a pawn shop. For nearly eleven
years, Samantha Whitman wore her ring, refusing to let her
husband, Daniel, replace it. But it doesn't really matter
now anyway. Sam's marriage is history and she's selling the
ring back to the pawn shop. Facing life alone at almost 31
years of age is going to be tough, but Sam realizes she has
to leave the past behind. She just isn't sure how.
Foundering, Sam doesn't know what the future holds for her,
until Erik Romaine, the pawnshop's owner, convinces her to
open her heart and take another chance...
