Baby By Chance

REVIEW

"One woman, one sperm donor, a small town"

Emily Barrett never expected to meet the father of her baby. But when she passes out at work and is rushed to the emergency room, she comes face to face with the very man. Only Dr. Brad Winslow doesn't know that she is carrying his baby. Mainly because Emily went to a sperm bank and thanks to her brother's inside information, she knows exactly who the father is. But telling Brad that he is about to become a father is not what Emily wants. She went to the sperm bank because she wanted a baby, not a husband.

The woman in the ER is not only beautiful, but a huge mystery to Dr. Brad Winslow. Something about her just isn't right, but with the madness that goes on in the ER, he doesn't have time to investigate it further. But when a century-old crime puts the two of them together, Brad learns a lot more about Emily than he ever expected. Plus being good friends with her brother never hurt either. Now Brad knows that Emily is pregnant and carrying his child, but he wants Emily to be the one that tells him of his impending fatherhood. What better way to get her to spill her big secret then to get her to fall in love with him or so Brad thinks.

FATHER BY CHOICE is an exciting story filled with mystery, love and excitement. Not only did I want to know what happened with the century-old crime, but how things were going to turn out with Brad and Emily and if they could end up one big happy family. It is definitely a great beginning to the Harlequins Code Red Series.
