The Matchmaker's Plan

The Matchmaker's Sister

REVIEW

"A lighthearted romance"

Dr. Ivan Donovan has always been a part of the Danville Family; adopted by them when he was going to college and couldn't afford to go back home during holiday breaks. So when the opportunity of a lifetime was presented to him by his best friend, he couldn't pass it up. To be able to research for cures and help sick children to his heart's content at the new Jonathan Danville Children's Research Center.

Ainsley "Baby" Danville is the youngest of the four siblings with big ideas. Always changing her mind about what she wanted to be when she grew up, her siblings are hoping that becoming a matchmaker is another one of those ideas that she will get bored with. But Ainsley knows in her heart that becoming a matchmaker is what she is destined to be and working as an apprentice for IF Enterprises is a dream come true.

When Ainsley's first match goes running out the church, leaving the groom behind, she promises not to try any more matches until she has finished her training. Well that idea is a good one until Ivan comes home. She thinks Ivan would be the perfect match for her serious, schedule oriented sister. What she doesn't realize is that she has feelings for Ivan herself and that even though she doesn't see it, the handsome doctor is her perfect match.

THE MATCHMAKER'S APPRENTICE is a lighthearted romance that has you in awe over how oblivious the characters are to each other's feelings. It's amazing how two people who are so perfect for each other can be so blind. The family bond between all of the Danville siblings is going to make the Matchmaker, Matchmaker series one that you won't want to miss. I'm looking forward to Miranda's story in THE MATCHMAKER'S SISTER coming in March 2004.
