"He doesn't want to love her, but Mitch can't resist"
Five years ago, Ginny Morgan was swept away by a handsome,
sweet talking man from Texas. A man who she thought loved
her but disappeared after Spring Break was over. When Ginny
realized she was pregnant, she tried to find Mitch Holden,
but he seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Ginny did what she had to, raising her son on her own,
saving every penny so that Joey could have an operation to
fix his eyes. Until during her break one day, she saw an
article about John Mitchell Holden donating a large amount
of money to a foundation. Thinking she finally found the
father of her child, she packs Joey up, takes a weeks
vacation and heads off to Tumbleweed, Texas. She doesn't
need Mitch to be a father, but if he has money to donate to
charity, he could spare some to help pay for Joey's
surgery. Mitch Holden doesn't know who this woman is on his doorstep
looking for him, but when she faints dead away, he knows
he's going to have to help her. The last thing Mitch wants
is to open himself up. After losing his wife and daughter
in a car accident, Mitch has closed himself off from most of
the family and buried himself in work. But when he finds
out why Ginny is looking for a man who claimed to be him, he
not only wants to help her, but her child too. And just
maybe he can find out who was using his name all those years
ago. A deal is all that Mitch had in mind when Ginny was back on
her feet. He would pay for little Joey's operation if she
would stay and work as his secretary until his came back.
What Mitch ended up getting was feelings he thought died
along with his wife, thoughts of keeping Ginny around for
more than her secretarial skills. What a sweet, heart-touching story. You are instantly
pulled in and and are rooting for Ginny. All she wants is
what isbest for her son and the sacrifices she's made makes
youlove and respect the woman and mother she has become.
Mitch is a man you feel for because he lost what was most
dear to him, but you are surprised at how he deals with his
pain. Not to mention Joey, the little sweetie and some other
characters in the book really makes the story complete by
pushing Ginny and Mitch together. Ms. McMahon touches your
soul with love in THE BOSS'S CONVENIENT PROPOSAL. I really
enjoyed this warm, heart-felt story and look forward to
reading what Ms. McMahon writes next.

SummaryMitch Holden has made Ginny Morgan a very generous
proposal.... If she is willing to be his secretary, Mitch
will pay for her son's operation. Ginny is happy to work
for Mitch, but finds it hard to get close to a man who has
shut out the world since the loss of his family. So Ginny
is stunned when her job of convenience turns into a
marriage of convenience....
