"A great chick-lit novel."

Jocasta "Cas" Perry knows that reality shows are the tickets to high ratings for any station, and the more "in your face" the reality is, the better. Hard as nails, beautiful, brainy Cas is good at what she does as a producer for TV6. Her brainchild for success? "Sex with an Ex." The premise is simple, sensational and full of fertile ground for humiliation. After all, Cas views men and relationships the way others view chocolate - so many different kinds to sample. And hey, since they're gone in one simple bite, why not move right on to another?

Nonetheless, Cas doesn't count on Darren Smith, the handsome hunk of a tree surgeon, to foil her show's pivotal episode. Nor does she expect him to throw the proverbial monkey wrench into her relationship plans. Suddenly "love 'em and leave 'em" Cas is floundering in the uncharted waters of love and emotion.

With her wacky mates, Josh and Issie, mucking up the scene, Cas soon finds the tables turned on her. Suddenly, her dream program becomes the nightmare she never knew existed. To a girl who believes traditional means tacky and predictable, it could mean GAME OVER.

Full of fashionable fun, quixotic characters and down-to- earth jibes, Ms. Parks has created another winner in the chick-lit arena. The reader grows and groans along with the plucky heroine as she turns from a cold, calculating bitch to someone a bit more human. And she doesn't lose all her sardonic charm as she scrapes her nose along the way. Enjoy!

Summary

Cas Perry wants nothing to do with love -- her dad walking out on her mother was quite enough romantic drama, thank you very much. And why should she bother with relationships when she can manipulate just about any man for sex? The steely-hearted TV producer plays with other people's love lives and orchestrates unscripted fireworks on the edgy reality show Sex with an Ex -- a ratings blockbuster that is sending her already-hot career skyrocketing.
