"Another hot read from a master"
Who would have thought one piece of undelivered mail would
have the power to change the lives of so many people
forever. What happens when that mail is found, many years
later? Twenty-five years ago, Jill Dennis had been blissfully in
love. Until Valentine's Day, when an argument with the
love of her life caused irrevocable damage, splitting them
up for good. Brandon Sinclair was from a well-to-do
family, so in love with Jill, not caring about the fact
she was from the "wrong side of the tracks," as his
parents tried to convince him. They had a dreadful fight
after he told her he was being forced to go away to school
immediately. He stormed out, and Jill never heard from him
again, though she held out hope, until a newspaper article
announced his marriage. Just in time for this Valentine's
Day, Jill receives a Valentine from Brandon, that had been
meant to be delivered to her back then, but was lost. Now
they finally have the chance to find out what happened.
But is it enough to give them Second Chances at their
lives... and love? Here is yet another wonderful quick read by Ms. Wilde. As
always, she more then satisfies her readers by giving them
a fully developed love story in a short story. Jill and
Brandon's love for each other is evident on every page,
and even though circumstances beyond their control
separated them, it is apparent that love never really
died, but only went into hibernation for a while. As
always the passion igniting between the characters is red-
hot, with a slow seduction leading up to a sexual
explosion. It is evident that Ms. Wilde is incredibly
talented when it comes to writing stories guaranteed to
inflame the senses of her readers. This reviewer has long
become a die-hard fan, adding this story to her ever-
growing list of favorites. © Kelley A. Hartsell, May 2004. All rights reserved.

SummaryA Valentine card lost at the post office and delivered years
later gives Jillian Dennis a reason to contact her high
school sweetheart, Brandon Sinclair, the one great love of
her life, a love she'd lost but never forgotten. They hadn't
seen, or spoken to each other for twenty-five years. Had
fate stepped in to give them a second chance?
