Summary

Michelle Wright is well-liked and admired as a singer and songwriter by a wide circle of acquaintances and fans. But after the failure of her marriage, and then her young daughter's death in a car accident, Michelle maintains a distance from all those who care about her, hoping never again to feel the pain of lost love. When a chance encounter with a secretive but wildly alluring composer leads to an unexpected seduction, it reawakens needs in Michelle that have long lain dormant.

But Nicholas Duquaine has secrets. Secrets that will test the limits of Michelle's love and the limits of her belief. Secrets that could keep them apart—forever.

Michelle will need to show Nick that love is more than the fun of peaches and cream in bed and sensually inventive uses for musical instruments. She will have to convince him that love conquers all.
