"A sizzling, sassy romance!"
Setting: Present day, Virginia Around midnight on the way back from his brother's wedding
reception, ex-FBI agent turned Private Investigator, Mitch
McCoy encounters a woman in a wedding dress standing near
her broken down car on the road to Manchester, VA. Only
after he is already hunkered down next to her, changing the
flat tire on her car, does he realize she is none other
than Liz Braden, the woman who left him standing at the
altar seven years ago. Seeing Liz again makes Mitch realize why his life has been
so unsatisfying lately and the attraction between them is
still hot enough to ignite flames in his blood! Now, more
than ever, he is determined to find the answers to
questions that arose seven years ago about the only woman
he has ever loved. But first, he must find out what sort
of trouble she's landed herself into this time; and what
exactly does that blood stain on the front of her wedding
dress mean? In THE P.I. WHO LOVED HER, readers are presented with a
wonderful and well woven plot followed through with a
captivating story. With some unexpected twists and turns,
readers are left guessing what's going to happen next.
There is nothing predictable about this plot, therefore the
story leaves a memorable impression. Careful how you handle this latest novel by Tori
Carrington, it may singe your fingers! The love scenes
were steamy, sizzling with passion and extremely well
written. The effect of the heroine on the hero is best
described as "electrifying"! The strong attraction they
feel for each other is obvious from the first moment they
meet. Tori Carrington has excelled in spinning an easy, well-
written yarn with plenty of lively, and exciting dialogue
which was credible and suited the characters. The
interaction of the hero and heroine was funny, totally
believable, and tastefully integrated. The hero, Mitch, is lovable, bewitching, sexy, charming,
compassionate, and protective. What more could a girl ask
for? The heroine, Liz, will leave most readers
sympathizing and identifying with her. It is easy to see
how all the characters help to carry the story along; it
flowed smoothly and flawlessly through each scene.
Secondary characters were outstandingly hilarious and
nosy! Vividly depicted, readers will experience life in a
small town, where everyone knows everything about everyone
else. Lori and Tony Karayianni, the dynamic duo who write as Tori
Carrington, have given their fans an unforgettable story.
THE P.I. WHO LOVED HER is a sizzling and sassy romance, and
one I would highly recommend to all lovers of series
romance!
