He's the man she has always loved but being married to Jackson Garrett was more like being a single mother. Jackson is a Hot Shot, a member of an elite team of forest fire fighters. He spends more time away from home than he ever did at home and when he was home he was always off doing a favor for someone else. To Lexie and their daughter Heidi they were on the bottom of Jackson's priority list. So she asked him for a divorce, hoping it would give him a reality check, instead he gave her one by giving it to her.

Jackson Garrett is a second generation Hot Shot. Fighting the beast is not easy, but his desire to get back home to Lexie and Heidi has always had him making it out alive. His entire time in Russia gave Jackson plenty of time to think about what happened between him and Lexie. And after losing a member of his team, Jackson's afraid he lost his courage to fight fires along with him.

Jackson has returned home to Silver Bend in one piece, but not completely whole. He is determined to win over Lexie and get his family back. But a surprise lays in store for him. Lexie is pregnant, and with his baby! Now Jackson is determined to move back home more than ever. Lexie however is not so forgiving. As much as she loves Jackson and could use his help, she knows that fighting fires is still Jackson's main priority, and she's not strong enough to have her heart broken over and over again.

Jackson has a lot to prove, not to mention some demons that he brought home with him to fight. Jackson knows in order to win Lexie back, he is going to have to sacrifice his career but can his soul survive without fighting flames. Lexie has dreams of her own. Having a big happy family is one but when she encounters complications with her pregnancy, will all her dreams be wiped away.

Grab the tissues because GETTING MARRIED AGAIN will not only make you laugh, but it will have you in tears too. Jackson and Lexie have many obstacles to overcome in order to get back to a normal relationship. The ups and downs they encounter will keep you entranced through out the whole book. This was one book I couldn't put down. The team of Hot Shots are an amazing bunch that have you craving to learn more about them. Ms. Curtis has written an extremely emotional story that has me craving more and I can't wait to read Logan's story, THE FAMILY MAN, in November.

Summary
