"In the Style of Old Romantic Comedies"
Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy and anticipation.
For Michelle Collins and the people she works with, it's a
time of fear and dread. Their company is being taken over
by a man renowned for his habit of buying companies and
stripping them of employees. A man who takes an interest in
Michelle. Jason Radcliffe is rich, charming, and all too handsome.
Michelle knows better than to trust him. When he decides to
woo her — and her son — she realizes that she's in the
perfect position to save not only her job, but the entire
company. She knows that he can't win her over, no matter
what he does. Doesn't she? In the tradition of the old movie classics, HE SAID, SHE
SAID pits a spunky, perky, down-on-her-luck but good-
hearted heroine against a debonair hero whose cold heart
needs warming, and lets the sparks fly. Some readers may
want to steer clear of this relatively sweet little treat
with characters who are just a bit too good to be true and
a happy ending that rivals a classic Harlequin Presents
novel in suddenness, but if you can get around those
details, this neat little story is perfect for light
holiday reading. It's happy, well-written and well-plotted,
and leaves you contented and feeling good about the world. Sensuality Level: This book is rated Sensual by the
publisher.

SummaryChristmas -- a time for romance, a time for good will, for
everyone's wishes to come true ... a time for corporate
takeovers? Not if Michelle Collins has anything to say
about it! Jason Radcliffe may be rich, sexy and drop-dead
gorgeous, but Michelle is absolutely certain she can resist
a few minor details like that during her crusade to save
the company she works for. Unfortunately, Jason is just as
determined to possess the company and her. Can two hearts
collide and survive?
