"Gentle story of love, compassion and second chances."
Johanna Weston is ready to take control of her life again.
In the isolated town of Enchantment, New Mexico, she's
worked to put behind the pain of her failed marriage and
the devastating loss of her baby. After working at the
Enchantment Pediatric Clinic for a few months, she's ready
to restart her career in California with a job she dreamed
of in her earlier days in medical school. She moves to town
with a run-away horse and a dog that will grow to be bigger
than she is. Little does Johanna know that meeting Ben Carson, owner of
Shadow Creek Ranch, will be a turning point for her. Ben
makes her feel more alive than she's felt in years, as if
every possibility in the world is before her and anything
she's ever dreamed can come true. She wants to experience
the love of a cowboy - a man who truly touches her heart. Ben, known as the "biggest catch in Arroyo County," has a
ranch to run and is temporary guardian of his nephew. He
doesn't have time to live up to the reputation the town has
given him. Upon meeting Johanna, he knows she's different
than all the other women he's dated. This is a gentle story of love, compassion, independence
and beautiful second chances.
