"Captivating Time Travel"
Linda Kay's enchanting book has restored my faith in magic,
especially the magic of love. I thoroughly enjoyed this
fascinating time travel. Walter Harrington has paid a fortune to Tobias
Thistlewaite to take him and his personal assistant,
Victoria Desmond, to 1274 so they can figure out why Castle
Avondal can't be restored. Victoria is quite skeptical.
Time travel? Get real! She's certainly taken aback when
she realizes that Tobias has done exactly what he's been
paid
for...taken them back to Castle Avondal in 1274. The problem
is that the siege had already taken place years before.
Now it's up to Walter and Victoria to figure out what's
going on. Walter and Victoria snoop around looking for the
mysterious amulet, they are forcibly taken to Sir Ranulf of
Darkvale who takes Walter hostage and tells Victoria that
he'll let Walter go if she'll bring him the amulet. Now
it's up to Victoria to save Walter any way she can. When
she meets Percival the knight who tells her he'll help her
in her quest, little does she know she's really dealing
with Gareth of Avondal who has his own agenda for finding
the amulet. Will this comedy of errors get straightened
out in the end? I sincerely hope that Linda Kay will give us many
more of these time travels to enjoy. The characters were
captivating, the story interesting and the scenes colorful.
I know I avidly read this book and have put Linda Kay on my
list of automatic buy authors!

Victoria, a newcomer in a bygone world, must figure out how
to save him. Though she is more than capable in her own
time and place, Victoria has no idea how to survive in the
Middle Ages—let alone rescue Walter from a deadly knave
like Sir Ranulf of Darkvale. What she needs is the help of
a knight in shining armor. What she gets is the rather
bedraggled and unkempt cavalier named Sir Garrett.
Meets Her Medieval Match...
Handsome Garrett of Avondel has disguised himself as a down-
on-his-luck knight in order to seek revenge against Sir
Ranulf, who had seized his lands and killed his parents
when Garrett was just a boy. When the mysterious Victoria
thrusts herself into his life, she complicates his quest—
driving him to distraction with her strange ideas and petal-
soft lips. But nothing will sway Garrett from his
objective. He is determined to defeat Ranulf at all costs—
and win the heart of this extraordinary enchantress at the
same time...
