"A good read"
In Desert City, Arizona former cop Mitch Valetti finds
a silver urn containing ashes on the side of a remote
country road that heads to his ranch. Obviously someone
somehow lost a cherished memory. Mitch feels renewed for
the first time since almost losing his life in the line of
duty. He vows to vigorously pursue the owner to return the
urn. Fleeing for her life, Gillian Stevens's car has a
flat. She empties her trunk to get to the spare but leaves
behind the most important possession she has: a suitcase
containing the urn with the remains of her beloved daughter
Katie. Though in danger if she stays in one place, Gillian
cannot leave without the urn. Needing money, she accepts a
waitress job and begins her search and meets Mitch. Though
attracted to the rancher, she wonders if he works for the
killers or can she trust him with her child's ashes, her
heart, and ultimately her life? With novels like THE BABY COP, Roz Denny Fox has begun
earning a reputation for strong romantic suspense novels
filled with deep characters. Her latest tale, LOST BUT NOT
FORGOTTEN, brings back key cast members from her previous
tale, but entwines them into a powerful taut thriller. The
lead couple is a wonderful duo struggling with past
sorrows, questions of trust, and a growing love for one
another that happens at the wrong time and perhaps the
wrong place. Ms. Denny has another triumphant tale that is
equal parts romance and suspense filled with twists and
turns. Harriet Klausner
