"One of the best books I've read this year"

Seth Mackey still hasn't gotten over his younger brother's murder. His brother was a cop who was murdered in a deal gone badly. Vowing revenge against the man responsible, he joins up with his brother's wounded partner and works on getting revenge against Victor Lazar. Seth has set up hidden cameras and microphones in the house of Victor Lazar's mistress, as well as special listening devices in Victor's island hideaway. Recently the mistress has disappeared and a new woman has taken up residence in the house. This new woman intrigues Seth as no woman has before now. Since his brother's death he hasn't felt anything. Now he's starting to feel again and he's not happy about it.

Raine Cameron has been in hiding for most of her life. Her father was murdered when she was a child and she's been in hiding with her mother ever since. Now she's starting to have terrible nightmares and she knows she must face her fears or go crazy. She's come back to Seattle and taken a position in her Uncle's company. She's sure he's the one who ordered her father's murder and if she works for him in secret she believes that she'll be able to find out the truth.

This has to be one of the best books I've read this year. The hero is a true alpha with a heart of gold and the heroine was his perfect match. The attraction between the two main characters was hot from the beginning. Both were easy to like and I enjoyed seeing their relationship progress. The plot kept me guessing to the end.
