"Romantic Suspense at it's finest!"

Delores Fossen knows exactly how to hook a reader right from the very first page and then slowly (or quickly) reel them in- hook, line and sinker! Her books always have a bit of a twist to them that just won't let go!

This story is about Lieutenant Jared Dillard and his soon to be ex-wife Rachel. While they were married they tried and tried to have a child. When that never happened they had frozen embryos and unfertilized eggs for future use. Then Jared was seriously injured in the line of duty and he and Rachel grew apart. When Rachel found out that her boss was laundering money among other things she had to go into protective custody in order to testify against him.

Jared finds out the most horrendous thing he could ever find out and has to find Rachel to let her know what's happened. Not only has their embryo been stolen but a surrogate mother has given birth to their child and now that child is being held as insurance that Rachel won't testify. What will Jared and Rachel do?

This is romantic suspense at it's finest. Rachel and Jared will do everything in their power to find out if this is their child in the first place and then they will do everything they can to get this child back! I've thoroughly enjoyed this and every book Delores Fossen has ever written and hope to read many more in the future!

Summary
