"A jolly contemporary romance"
She is thirty, single, and in love, but Sophie Lane cannot
convince Lance Summers that they belong together. Her
sister, married a whole month (see MARRY ME, MADDIE),
encourages her to pull a trick. Maddie wants Sophie to
use the guilt card to get Lance on the local "Sophie Knows
Show" Dating Game segment, but rig it so she is his date
in Cancun. Lance learns of the ruse and pulls his own stunt so that
Sophie's choice becomes former professional football
player Rory Dalton's date instead of his. However, now
that he has what he wants, Lance becomes SLEEPLESS IN
SAVANNAH. He realizes that he is jealous of Rory. Lance
detests that his beloved is on a romantic date with this
hunk and being without her is too hard so he puts his own
game in motion to win back his beloved, but this time
forever. This sequel is a fun contemporary romance that never takes
itself too seriously. The frolics and antics of the lead
couple and a third Lane sister turns this plot into an
amusing diverting read. Though Lucy Lane's (Sophie's
other sister, not Lois' sibling) antics and own romance
takes time away from the delightful lead duo, fans will
admire Rita Herron's ability to provide a jocular romantic
romp. Harriet Klausner
