REVIEW

"Sometimes in love you have to give a little..."

For pretty doctor Brynna Shaw and handsome ranch hand/ pilot Devlin Holmes it was lust at first sight. Their first dance at a local bar led to another, which led to an unforgettable night of passion. Maybe if they had been thinking straight it would have stopped there, but that wonderful night led to an impulsive flight to Las Vegas where they were married.

Eight months later reality is setting in for Brynna. She loves Dev, he is a sweet and caring man, but he is also a free spirit who can't be tied down. His unreliability is causing her to doubt their relationship. His disappointing reaction when she announces her pregnancy makes up her mind that she doesn't want to be married to a man who does not want to be tied down.

Dev loves Brynna more than he has ever loved anyone, but it is taking some real soul searching to get himself adjusted to the idea of being a father. He realizes he has blown it with Brynna but before he can make amends she asks him to leave. Now it is up to him to convince her that he is willing and able to be the man she wants him to be.

This little book proved to be entertaining. I enjoyed Dev quite a bit although I did agree with Brynna that he was just a little too unconcerned with responsibility. Luckily for Brynna, Dev matured quickly when she became (in my opinion) overly critical and demanding. In the end it was a pleasure to see them learn that you have to give a little to get a lot.
