SummaryWhen Maddy Sloane's husband Bart disappears in the middle
of Seattle's Pike Place Market, Maddy is sure he must have
met with an accident. She wouldn't wish that on him even
though she's come to despise him and is about to give up on
their six month old marriage.
FBI special agent Nick Ciacia has been following Bart for
some time. When Bart vanishes, he switches his attention
to Maddy. Having convinced her that they've met before and
have mutual friends, he offers to help her track down her
husband. It isn't long before they discover that Bart had
a whole other life filled with deadly secrets.
Neither Nick nor Maddy expect to fall in love, but while
their passion is growing, Maddy discovers that Nick has an
agenda of his own, one that puts them both in danger. As
