"Funny Reunited Love Tale!"
Jake Peterson needed a wife like yesterday if he had any
hopes of keeping the adorable baby girl he inherited after
his two very best friends were killed in a car crash. To
Jake's dismay the social worker suggests he get married.
Jake thinks that will be easy he will hire someone to play
a beloved wife and mother to Bonnie so that he can
get legal custody. The social worker dashes all his hopes
when she informs him he has to marry someone he has history
with. The only person that qualifies is his ex-wife Candy
Jacobs. Candy Jacobs swore off motherhood and being a wife after
her spilt from Jake ten years earlier. Suddenly Jake is
back in her life asking for the impossible. He wants to
marry Candy! Candy is very apprehensible about this plan
due to her mother's neglect and cruel behavior. She feels
inadequate to be a good wife and mother. One look into
Bonnie's baby blue eyes and Candy is having feelings not
only for baby Bonnie but Bonnie's sinfully handsome father
as well. Laura Marie Altom writes a wonderfully, tender reunited
love story. Readers will be laughing and crying with this
one. Due to many misconceptions on both the hero and
heroine's part, they have been apart for too long. Their
reunion is very explosive and beautiful. This novel is
filled with wonderful secondary characters who bring
something funny to the mix making this a sure fire summer
read!
