REVIEW

"Both of these are laugh out loud funny!"

Truly, Madly, Briefly by Delores Fossen had me in stitches from the very first paragraph and I laughed through the whole story. Bobbie Callahan is manager of the family's men's lingerie factory. Her fiancé, Jasper, has left her at the altar twice and not only that, the second time he had the audacity to go ahead and go on their honeymoon. She's washed her hands of him. Now cases of men's underwear are disappearing from their factory. She goes to the Sheriff's office to report it and runs right into Aidan O'Shea, a deputy in the Law-Enforcement Exchange program previously from Boston. Aidan is hot but Bobbie is not falling for any man who is going to leave soon. Besides she has too much other stuff on her mind, one being Jasper is back and wants her to forgive and forget. He's got to be kidding, right? Maybe she and Aidan can work out a deal where it looks like they are dating. Will it work or should they just give it up? Only time will tell.

Tried and True by Katie Gallagher tells us about Clementine Spencer, a socialite from Savannah who decides to run away from her controlling mother and fiancé. She runs away to Tried and True, Kansas where she runs out of money so she decides to stay for two weeks but she sure doesn't count on meeting Sheriff Calum McCutcheon or the Ladies Club. What happens then is the stuff romances are built on. Add a desperate fiancé and a distraught mother and you have a recipe for all kinds of things going wrong or is it right?

These two stories had me laughing till tears rolled down my face. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them and eagerly look forward to reading more from these two highly entertaining authors.

Summary

Truly, Madly, Briefly by Delores Fossen

Are your undies safe?

Bobbie Callahan can ID a briefs man from a boxers kind of guy from fifty paces — managing the family's men's lingerie factory will do that to a girl. When a case of superlarge men's thongs disappears not once, but twice, she calls in the sheriff. Aidan O'Shea is thrilled to be called. Not just because the tiny Texas town had all but put the Boston cop to sleep, but because Bobbie's the sexiest gal around!
