"He has the cure"
Thanks to his big mouth, Dr. Luke Walker is sent by the
hospital where he is head of the ER department to work at
the Healing Waters Clinic, a clinic that takes the opposite
approach from the modern methods he is used to. He is going
to serve out his time, but that doesn't mean he has to like
it or his new boss Faith McDowell. From the moment Faith laid eyes on Luke, she thought he was
hot, sexy and gorgeous, but that reaction flies out the
window the minute he opens his mouth. He makes no secret
that he thinks that the methods used at Healing Waters does
not compare to the methods used at South Village Medical
Center. Jill Shalvis does a great job of wrapping up the American
Heroes miniseries. Luke Walker is everything you could want
in a doctor, good looking, hot and has a great bedside
manner that would make the healthiest patient fake illness
just to get some of his attention.
Faith is his total opposite, a fiery redhead, who is
working hard to keep her clinic in the black and also
suffering a health problem of her own. This is the first
time I read a book where the heroine has to come to terms
with her own health issues. LUKE is a perfect book to take to the beach. It is a fast,
fun, sexy read and I can't wait to read more on the South
Village community that Ms Shalvis has created.

SummaryThe Symptoms
E. R. head Dr. Luke Walker saves all of his bedside manner
for his patients. With the hospital staff he's outspoken,
tough, no-nonsense . . . until now. Disciplinary action
from the hospital board has landed him a three-month stint
at the Healing Waters Clinic. And working around
aromatherapy, acupuncture and yoga seems to be having a
remarkable effect on hi m. But not nearly the effect Faith
McDowell-the fiery redheaded director of the clinic-is
having on his libido.
The Cure
The truth is Luke and Faith clash over everything-except
their passion for healing people . . . and their passion
for each other. Making love to Faith has a remarkable
healing effect on Luke, putting a sexy smile on his face.
Problem is, Luke Walker, who has done his best not to need
anyone, finds himself needing her. So now he has to use
his
more persuasive bedside manner to convince Faith that this
passion is for keeps.
