REVIEW

"Whew! What a thriller!"

I believe Patricia Rasey knows exactly how to hook a reader right from the very beginning, which is what she did with her latest thriller. Patricia pulls no punches with her books. They are gritty, realistic and down-right spine tingling.

She takes us back to Napoleon, Ohio, the setting for KISS OF DECEIT, the first book that introduced us to LeAnne McVeigh and Marcus "Snake" Gallego. EYES OF BETRAYAL begins two years later with Snake rolling back into town after being gone for two long excruciating years, but he's not alone. He has a fellow biker and a woman with him this time. The man is Egan Tate, a former member of The Lords of Lucifer, a motorcycle gang based out of LA and the woman is Chief Randy Craig's girl, Virginia Summers.

Tate and Snake decide to go out after settling Ginny in at Snake's house and when they get back they find that Ginny's been killed in much the same way that Snake's first wife was killed. What does this mean and what will LeAnne think?

LeAnne's friend Whitney Montgomery is a doctor and the Deputy Coroner. She thinks Tate is a hunk but he's not her type whatsoever so why does she get all hot and tingly every time she's near him? What's Tate doing in their little town and is he a murderer? That's just what LeAnne and Whitney need to find out before anything else is said and done. Can this happen before anyone else is hurt or killed? That remains to be seen.

This book had me on pins and needles throughout the whole book. I was so glad to see Leanne and Marcus (Snake) get back together. I was especially glad to see the case from KISS OF DECEIT solved in this book but the cliffhanger ending had me clamoring for the next book in this series ASAP. Patricia Rasey can't write it fast enough for me!
