Summary

On planet Syra, a circle written in blood and death draws tighter around the city states of Sefron and Datyl. Assassins who can be anywhere or anyone--even a young flowergirl--has the leaders of both cities worried. How can they destroy assassins when they have no clue where they came from?

When his beloved master and mistress are murdered by the Blood Circle, guardsman Jasper Baronson vows vengeance on those responsible. He guards Lord Valon Padrason while the Sunlord investigates suspicious deaths in both cities.
