"A great start to a new mini-series!"
I'm absolutely hooked on Jill Shalvis and her
incredibly sexy books including this one! After being dumped by her third fiancé, Suzanne
Carter has no place to go but she knows for sure that there
will be no more men for her! She needs a cheap apartment
and soon so she answers an ad for just that. There she
meets hunky Ryan Alondo when he jumps out of a tree right
in front of her. Then she meets Taylor Wellington, an ex-heiress who
was living off her grandfather's money until he died and
only left her with the building with no money for
renovations. Suzanne and Taylor instantly bond because
they have both sworn off men. But Suzanne underestimates Ryan and his powers of
persuasion especially when the tree falls onto the roof and
right into her apartment. Ryan saves Suzanne and there's
an instant attraction but Suzanne resists all the way
kicking and screaming! She won't go down without a serious
fight. She doesn't know that Ryan will do almost anything
to get under her skin. So how long will it take for him to
finally wear her down? I absolutely devour all of Jill Shalvis' books and
this one is no exception. Not only were Suzanne and Ryan
great characters but Ryan's family and Taylor all made this
book an interesting read! I eagerly look forward to the
other books in this mini-series as I am sure they will be
equally enjoyable!

SummaryVowing to be single is easy...
Suzanne Carter has sworn off men...really! Her inability
to take life seriously drives them crazy so it''s best she
leaves them alone. Then one night, strong, handsome Ryan
Alondo rescues her and she simply melts. Who could resist
all that rough and tumble sexiness? But as tempting as he
is, she's not going to fall for his charms. Because
there's no way she wants to ruin a man this gorgeous.
...until this sexy bachelor comes along!
From the moment Ryan sets eyes on Suzanne, he knows she's
the one for him. She's fun and sexy and exactly what he
needs in his overcrowded, responsible life. And the
passion between them can't be ignored. He just has to
convince her he's serious enough for both of them. Good
thing he can be very, very persuasive...
