"A beautiful contemporary update of Rumplestilskin"
All summer long, Kate Pedigrew dragged her brother all over
New England seeking a spinning wheel that she dreamed she
owned. Obsessed with finding it, she visits an antique shop
in Vermont where she finds the spinning wheel of her
dream. Kate and the store's owner, Ms. Wimpole-Barrett act
possessed until she brings the spinning wheel to her home,
a renovated church. Cole Beresford is hunting a lost spinning wheel that should
never have been sold because it contains dangerous magical
attributes. At a party Cole meets Kate and both are
instantly attracted to each another. However, he must put
aside romance until he gains the missing spinning wheel
before his enemy, art thief Jeremy Davenport, finds it or
the current owner gets hurt by the new artifact. THE DREAM SPINNER is a beautiful contemporary updating of
Rumplestilskin. The story line is entertaining as it grips
the audience with a compulsion to read in one sitting. The
lead couple seems more like twentieth century Prince
Charming and Snow White as they find love almost destined
by the strange essence of the spinning wheel. Gail Crease
modernizes the fairy tale into a wonderful adult romance. Harriet Klausner /October, 2000
