"The action doesn't let up!"
Delores Fossen has done it yet again. She's written a book
so intriguing that it was impossible for me to put it
down. I have her to thank for my bloodshot eyes and lack
of sleep but it was well worth it! The first line of this
book is "Leigh realized she was being murdered." Now this
adrenalin-rushing sentence is the premise for a wild roller
coaster ride of a book that doesn't let up in tension and
action until the very last page is turned. Gabe Sanchez has been looking for his wife for two years.
She had uncovered a plot by a crooked FBI agent and he
nearly murdered her. The agent was a friend of Gabe's and
he didn't believe he was crooked until Leigh was shot.
That's when Leigh disappeared. Now two years later Gabe
pulls her out of a lake where she's nearly murdered yet
again. What is going on? When Gabe pulls Leigh out of the lake, he notices that her
face is bruised and she's been shot. She also has no idea
who she is let alone who he is. All she knows is that
she's got to get to Houston. It's absolutely imperative and
the most important thing she can think of. As Leigh and
Gabe run for their lives and try to figure out who is
trying to kill Leigh yet again, Leigh's memory slowly
starts to come back. Now can they solve the mystery in time? I have always been a big fan of the Harlequin Intrigue line
of books and romantic suspense. This book is just one of
the many reasons why. Gabe and Leigh finally to make it to
Houston and what a surprise that turned out to be! I also
had absolutely NO idea who the villain was until the very
last chapter! A guaranteed all around great read and most
definitely a page-turner!

SummaryHis secret child. . . and hers.
FBI agent Gabe Sanchez had his orders concerning witness
Leigh O Brien--keep her alive, catch the bad guys, take care
of her. The last was asking a lot, given that Leigh had
vanished from his life two years ago. Now she was back, and
Gabe wanted answers. Who was trying to kill her? Why did she
leave without a word? Why did he still yearn for her, body
and soul?
Leigh couldn t remember her name, let alone the sexy
stranger who claimed to be her husband. All she knew was
that she had to get to Houston in time to save a child in
grave danger. But she and Gabe were in for the shock of
their lives when they arrived at their destination. .
.because the child they sought was their son.
