"A deeply emotional story!"
Angelica Leone has a successful business that she
started after her husband was killed in a horrible water
skiing accident on their honeymoon. She's supposed to pitch
her business at a bachelorette auction when she stumbles
and falls of the stage right into the arms of Paul
Sterling. He puts her back on the stage and she goes right
into pitching her Silver Bells package, which includes
domestic management, and being a partner at three corporate
functions. Lo and behold, Paul bids for and wins the package.
He's a cold man who only wants to be successful at
business. Love has no place in his life. He watched it
destroy his mother when his father died. He was only seven
years old at the time. Angelica sees Paul's potential but
she felt that her deceased husband, Roger was her soul mate
and there's only one soul mate per life, right? Still Paul and Angelica are drawn to each other.
Finally they decide to try a relationship with no strings
attached. Will this work or will one or both of them get
badly hurt? Only time will tell. This story was deeply emotional. Angelica kept
hammering at Paul's emotions because she just wasn't
satisfied with what he was. She knew he could be so much
more if he would just allow love to blossom, but Angelica
was holding back too. She didn't want to be left alone for
a second time. I found myself hurrying through this book
to find out just how they would solve their dilemma. I'm
happy to say that I read the epilogue with a sigh of
contentment for a job well done!

SummaryGOING ONCE, GOING TWICE...
The bachelorette auction was perfect, just like everything
Angelica Leone
arranged. At least it was until she tumbled off the stage--
and landed in the
arms of a man who seemed determined to muss up her
immaculate exterior...
Hard-driving corporate executive Paul Sterling was used to
snapping his
fingers and getting exactly what he wanted. The trouble
was, it looked like
what he wanted now was her!
Well, he had to remember that this was strictly a business
arrangement--even
if he was making her ache to cross the fine line between
business and
pleasure...
