"Zane is one hot hunk!"
Julia Goodwin had been a good girl all her life and
what did it get her? She's divorced, her parents aren't
happy with her, her brother uses her for a babysitter and
her sister keeps throwing her at dull, boring accountants
and dentists. On the way to another of her sister's boring
dinner parties, Julia swerves to miss magpies in the road
and ends up in the ditch. Zane O'Sullivan is in town to visit his sister,
Kree and is the one who tows Julia back into town. Julia
has always had a crush on Zane but he's never given her the
time of day even though his sister is her roommate. Julia
tells Zane that she owes him a drink for coming to get her. Zane knows even talking to Julia much less lusting
after her is definitely the wrong thing to do. Julia is a
marriage kind of girl and he's definitely not looking to be
tied down any time soon if at all but still he can't seem
to keep away from her. Then one night, Julia decides to go looking for
Zane. She finds him in a bar in town and they dance. Some
of her friends are there and when they call her over, Zane
decides to leave. Julia takes matters in her own hands and
follows him. When he gets hurt in a brawl because of her,
she takes him home. After a night of passion, Zane leaves
town but when he badly hurts his knee he has to come
crawling back, only his sister isn't in town so Julia has
to
take care of him, much to his dismay. What will this lead
to? This book was a one sitting read. Zane was a hunk
and when Julia decided she was interested, there wasn't
anything she wouldn't do to snag her man. This is the
first book by Bronwyn Jameson that I've read and I'll
definitely be checking out more of her books!
