"This author has me well and truly hooked!!"
Penny Miller has been summoned to Reno for a very
important reason. She's the foremost authority on casino
cheating and her foster father Patsy wants her to get to
the bottom of where the King's Ransom Casino money is
going. Not only does Penny know all the ins and outs of
cheating but she's also a master of disguises! Penny meets an extremely handsome young man at the
airport when they both reach for a cab door at the same
time. Penny uses one of her trademark two headed pennies
to win the right to the cab. Little does she know that
she's just met Rich Needlemeister, son of Frank
Needlemeister, her soon to be boss and owner of King's
Ransom Casino. Rich has been floating through life not sure what
he wants to do with himself when he comes slinking back
home with his tail between his legs to see about joining
the family business. His father decides not to cater to
him this time but makes him learn the business from the
bottom up. So now Rich and Penny have lots of secrets but
what will happen when things start to unravel? I read this charming story in a matter of hours.
Linda Bleser has taken the fairy tale of Rumplestiltskin
and rewritten it to suit modern day standards and what a
fabulous job she has done! I suggest that those who haven't
yet discovered Linda Bleser and her enchanting stories need
to read her ASAP!
