"A fun book full of quirky characters!"
Abigail Jenson, author of the best selling sex
manual for married couples, UNDER THE COVERS, is living a
lie. Just as her book hits the stores, her supposed
husband sends her a 'Dear John' letter telling her he's run
off with his lover, Tony. She also finds out that her
marriage was a sham in the first place. Tony isn't ordained
to performed marriages. What's a woman to do? Abby's publicist makes her go on talk shows and a
book tour so her well-meaning sisters hire a hunk of a man
to play Lenny, her husband. Little do they know that
they've hired Hunter Stone, newspaper reporter for The
Atlanta Journal. Hunter thinks Abby and her book have
broken up his marriage so he's out for revenge. What will
Hunter do when he finds out more about Abby? Believe me,
there's much more to the story than he even knows. What
will Abby do when she finds out that Hunter is deceiving
her big time, especially when things really start heating
up between them? Add Hunter's darling five year old
daughter Lizzie to the mix along with Abby's dog Butterball
and Lizzie's ugly mixed breed mutt, Snarts (oh, is there a
story to that name!) and you come up with a book that's a
lot of fun to read and quite hard to put down. I've been a long time fan of Rita Herron's and
think that she just gets better and better with each
succeeding book! I can't wait to see what she comes up
with next! This book is full of quirky characters like
Abby's two sisters, her parents and her Granny Pearl. I am
hoping that Rita will tell us stories about Abby's sisters
in short order!
