"Hot and sexy FBI agents!"

Grace Lockhart has been trying to get out from under her sexy mother's shadow all her life. Mimsey Lockhart had a lucrative career in B movies back in the '70s and unfortunately Grace looks too much like her mother. That's why Grace went into computer programming, works for the FBI and is a frump.

Now Grace wants to take down Harris Mitchell, a sleezeball from way back who has fingers into every dirty pie from money laundering to drug trafficking. Grace has come up with the ultimate computer program that if she can just get it into Mitchell's mainframe then she has him dead to rights. That's where Agent Logan Pierce comes in. He's the best field agent the FBI has and just who Grace needs to teach her what she needs to know.

The trouble with Logan is he works alone and has ever since his last rookie partner got killed for which he blames himself. Logan does everything he can to talk Grace out of completing her assignment but Logan doesn't know what spunk Grace has. She just had to succeed in order to gain the respect she deserves. Logan also doesn't count on what he finds under all that frumpiness. He's not sure he can handle it but he has to in order to get this job done so he can get on with his life such as it is. His biggest problem is he way underestimates Grace!

This book really got the adrenalin pumping. Once Logan started working with Grace, she found that she liked what Logan was doing. Logan certainly didn't know he was creating a very sexy tiger and once he created her, wasn't sure what to do with her. Even though I had to put this book down several times to do menial chores, I found myself picking it back up just to read one more page or two until surprisingly I had reached the ending and oh my, what an ending it was! I highly recommend this one!

Summary

It was an undercover assignment that required some under the covers' expertise.
