"A very sexy story simply not to be missed!!"
A self-made millionaire, Jake McBride has had plenty of
reasons to become cynical about women. No matter how
clearly he tells them he's not interested in marriage or a
long-term, serious relationship, they always end up wanting
more from him. He has everything he could ever want in
life -- now if only he could find a woman as sensible,
innocent and perfect as his personal assistant, Emily.
With the disintegration of his latest relationship, Jake
becomes aware that every male around except him, sees Emily
as the soft and sexy lady she truly is under all her
tweed. Upon learning that innocent Emily is interested in
dating men but lacks confidence, he decides he's the best
person to teach her all about the opposite sex -- and that
means everything! Emily Taylor has worked for Jake for almost one year. She
sees him as an egotistical and arrogant man who is totally
dense when it comes to relationships. He definitely is not
the type for anything long term, and she finds herself
feeling sorry for the string of women that have had their
hearts broken because of him. Emily is also tired of
cleaning up the numerous messes he keeps creating with
these floozy-type women who have equally ditzy type names.
Having spent most of her life cleaning up the mess created
by the broken relationships of her beautiful sisters, Emily
hasn't felt the urge to venture into the dating circle
herself. Well, that was until she overheard Jake remarking
to a friend that she was just 'plain'. Emily decides it's
time to start stepping out into the real world and somehow
ends up with Jake as her teacher! Sandra Marton's latest release, THE BEDROOM BUSINESS is a
sexy story simply not to be missed. Lovers of Harlequin
Presents are sure to enjoy Emily and Jake's story. THE BEDROOM BUSINESS boasts a plot packed with witty
dialogue, steamy seduction and excellent narration. I
enjoyed watching Jake wake up to Emily's sassy charm and
also loved watching him get jealous! Emily is a character
most women would be able to identify with as she lacks
confidence in herself and fails to see her own beauty.
Efficient and down to earth, Emily's comes across as a real
person rather than as a character in a novel. Ms. Marton's excellent talent to spin tender, sexy and
memorable romances is beautifully displayed yet again
within the pages of THE BEDROOM BUSINESS. I highly
recommend this book!
