REVIEW

"Beautiful and heart-warming romance!"

Laurie and Rob Ferguson's efforts to conceive a baby have met with futility for months. Rob travels a lot due to his rapidly expanding businesses. Laurie gave up her job to stay home to start their family but when Rob is away, which is very often, she only has their dog for company. After being disappointed once again by her pregancy test results, she finds herself taking a long hard look at her life with Rob and doesn't really like what she sees. She finds herself wondering if she even loves Rob anymore and doubting that she belongs with him. Determined to find some answers and make some drastic changes, she decides to go away for awhile, leaving the security of their home, everything connected to her life, and away from Rob. Accompanied by her dog, Laurie leaves Rob a brief note and disappears.

Rob arrives home from a business trip, eager to see his wife, but finds her gone. When he finds her note he suddenly realizes there are things he doesn't know about his wife. A thorough look around the house reveals clues to secrets he didn't know Laurie had kept from him. Living without his wife, the woman he loves deeply, is not an option Rob can accept easily. As he uncovers Laurie's tracks all the way to Scotland, he becomes more determined to get some answers of his own. He's going to find his wife and bring her home where she belongs -- but what will he do when Laurie adamantly refuses and tells him she's not sure if she wants to stay married to him?

Caroline Anderson is a new-to-me author and I'm so thrilled I had the opportunity to read this one. THE BABY QUESTION is an outstanding and very refreshing romance that will enchant all readers.

Ms. Anderson has penned a heart moving tale of stunning intensity and strong emotions. The beauty and magic of Scotland shine on the pages, embracing the reader with its charm and snaring the imagination. Caroline Anderson's highly evident and extremely entertaining talent for weaving a beautiful romance is made more memorable thanks to the main characters -- and of course, the absolutely adorable Midas... and Minstrel! Rob and Laurie are characters who will steal into your heart and mind, and continue to pop into your thoughts long after you've finished the book. The strength of their feelings for each other and the problems they face are portrayed with rich devotion; two wounded people, a strong undeniable love between them that just won't quit.

For a fabulous, vividly realistic love story that will truly warm your heart, be sure to join Rob and Laurie as they find their way back to each other. You'll love every minute of it!
