Megan Potter finally gets up the nerve to break off her engagement to her abusive fiance. However, just before she faces him, she is struck by lightening that comes out of a clear blue summer sky. As Kenric discovers the extent of his magical powers and his destiny, he also has to face the fact that he could end up losing the woman he has fallen in love with.
