"Two Matchmaking Tales that are sure to please!"
Suiteheart of a Deal by Sandra Kelly has
Rainey Miller's deceased aunt Lilly playing matchmaker from
the grave. Rainey has worked long and hard in order to take
over Honeymoon Haven for her aunt Lilly. Now Lilly has
died and Rainey is ready to take over but Aunt Lilly has
pulled one over on Rainey. She leaves half of the inn to
Beck Mahoney, a jack of all trades of sorts. Rainey just
can't believe it. Not only is Beck a womanizer but he's
also a hunk. Rainey has just gotten out of a bad
relationship and doesn't want to start another one,
especially with Beck. Beck puts a proposition to Rainey
that she can't resist though. It seems he has a huge trust
fund that he can access only if he gets married so he and
Rainey decided to try a marriage of convenience for six
months but what happens after that? My Place or Yours? by Wendy Etherington also
deals with matchmakers. Rebecca Parsons has decided to
ditch her money pit of a Victorian home and head for New
York but her neighbors just aren't ready to let her go.
Then rich stockbroker Alex Carlisle decides he wants to
settle down in a small town and decides to take this
historical home off her hands but he also wants to get his
hands on Rebecca too. Now if they could just figure out why
strange things are going on in the house..... I thoroughly enjoyed both of these matchmaking
stories. The situations the hero and heroine in each managed to
find themselves in gave me quite a few strange stares for
all the guffawing I did while reading these two hilarious
stories! I'm a huge fan of the Harlequin Duets and these
stories are the reason why!
